Dog Training Does Not Have to Be Cruel

... more inspired to post, but i got side tracked by adorable animalsTraining is best carried out in an environment that supports gaining of new skills. Such environment should not be threatening in any way as it would hinder learning of the canines. In the pat dog training was at times carried with little research on what canines require for them to learn .This at times meant that some forms of training were quite unethical and several border on cruelty. Dogs were seen a s aggressive canines whose will had to be broken and dominated at all times. Hence the training was quite inhuman and tough on the canines. This would mostly turn out canines who ha d little soft skill to interact with people and who most often were quite aggressive. However with more research it was discovered that dog training needed not be so cruel .Dogs are such adorable animals that to hurt them intentionally is wrong. Therefore more and more methods of canines training ahs emerged which seek to educate them with out having to resort to such punitive methods of canine training.

I Want a Pumi Dog

Have you ever heard of a type of dog breed called a Pumi? I had not heard of this dog breed until yesterday when I stumbled across a web site all about it. I was doing research for my school project on unique Male Dog Names when I found a page discussing this unique breed of dog.

The Pumi dog originates from Hungary and is a herding dog. They are very friendly dogs but love to work flocks of sheep. They are very athletic dogs that are intelligent, easy to train and loyal. They grow to a height of 18 inches at the shoulders and can grow up to a weight of 55 pounds.

As far as looking after these dog breeds go, they are relatively easy to maintain. They need room to run around to burn off all their energy, they need regular grooming to keep their curly coats nice and matt free and they are one of those dog breeds that do not shed.

Common Dog Allergies

Common dog allergies manifest in the shape of coughing, wheezing, sneezing, runny and stuffy nose and skin rashes. These allergies are caused by the immune system of certain sensitive individuals reacting negatively to the presence of dander (flakes of dead skin) on a dogs body. Dander by itself is actually harmless but sometimes the body perceives it to be harmful like viruses and bacteria and proceeds to protect the body. This is what results in these symptoms of allergy.

The best way to rid oneself of them is by reducing exposure to dander. One may have to give away the dog, if one is a pet owner. Alternatively if that is not possible, restricting the access of the dog in the house, frequent bathing and washing of the hands after petting the animal will help. What will also help is keeping the dog clean, by giving it frequent baths and by combing it regularly.

Pet Urns for Ashes

When my friend’s pet dog died, my friend decided to start looking for some pet urns for ashes. She decided to cremate her dog and leave her ashes in a pet urn. She originally wasn’t up for this cremation idea, but after her dad told her it would be ok, she decided to go along with it.

After the cremating was completed, she looked for some urns for ashes. She found a few online from sites like eBay, Amazon and online auctions. I told her to maybe try getting one from Amazon or eBay. I told her that oth are great reputable websites, so she can be one hundred percent sure that she was going to get good service.

The pet memorials then went on and she cried and cried during the pet memorial. She was sobbing and felt like she couldn’t get any better. I then told her that one day she will be with her dog one day. She ended up crying even more simply because she knew that one day she will be reunited with her dog one day.

My Puppy's Health

I got my new little puppy one week ago, and I already love him so much. I know that puppies do not have great immune systems, so I am concerned that he is going to get sick. I am taking him to a great doctor for all of his shots, but I also want to find a new food that will boost his immune system. I am looking at dog food secrets reviews in order to find something to feed my dog that is better for him. Besides good food, I know that he needs a lot of love and toys to play with. Puppies who play a lot are more energetic and active. That means that they will have better health as well. Since I care so much about my puppy, I keep wondering if I will be very protective when I have my own human children as well.

Dogs are generally playful and lively however they can be categorized as dominant dogs and submissive dogs. Do not be under the impression that only large dogs are dominating, even dogs like poodles or Maltese Dogs can be very dominating and high strung in nature. Observe the way, your dog holds his body, if it is rigid and his tail is stretched and rigid too then he holds himself in high air. I Am Desperate!!

I have just found out that I have a huge infestation of Aiptasia in my saltwater aquarium. I am not at all happy with this, especially because I have invested a lot of money and time to make my tank look beautiful. I think Aiptasia is a hitchhiker on the liverock I bought to grow algae to feed the flora and fauna in my tank. I surely wouldn’t have bought the liverock if I had known Aiptasia was all over it.

After I introduced the liverock, I saw one odd-looking anemone, and thought, great, I got a free anemone. Free, yes, but not a good addition at all. It’s gonna cost me a lot of money to get rid of this Aiptasia. One anemone quickly turned into six, which has now turned into over fifty. I am on my way to the local fish store to buy some Berghia Nudibranches, little sea slugs that look like aliens, who feed exclusively on Aiptasia. I hear they are really expensive, but they will get the job done. I am desperate, and will make sure to be more careful when adding anything new to my aquarium from now on.

Dog Hip Arthritis

Dog hip dysplasia, is a condition where the hip joint becomes loose and later the on-set of arthritis sets into the joint. Some dogs can develop is typically caused by hip arthritis without having hip dysplasia, so it is important to have some x-rays performed on the dog’s hips to determine if there is a cause such as another disease, or if the dog developed it due to age alone.

Moreover, some dogs can develop hip arthritis due to being overweight because the excessive weight adds pressure to the joint and can therefore cause the joint cartilage to wear down faster than if the dog was not overweight. Some dogs develop arthritis in the hip joint as a condition of entering into their senior years, but it is important to get the pain and inflammation under control because the stiffness your dog can undergo can literally make him or her not want to move or get up. When the pain and inflammation are under control, then you can exercise your dog more so that the joints remain fluid.
